Restore your smile and confidence with TeethXpress Implants

Many people who have conventional dentures don’t like to wear them because they don’t stay in place. TeethXpress offers a way to keep dentures secure and allows you to go about your daily life with confidence.

Conventional dentures are designed to give you the appearance of natural teeth, but not actually replace your natural teeth. You may have noticed that your denture that once fit well now slips constantly and requires costly visits to the dentist for adjustment. That’s because every day that you wear a denture the bone in your jaw shrinks a little more. Eventually the denture won’t fit at all and you will have to replace it.

TeethXpress is a very different solution. You will still have beautiful natural looking teeth, but now they will also function like natural teeth. The TeethXpress solution secures your denture to surgically placed dental implants so that you can eat, speak and live confidently without the fear of slipping dentures.

FAQ’s about TeethXpress

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are root-sized titanium cylinders that bond with the jawbone to provide permanent support and attachment for replacing individual teeth, a group of teeth or a full arch of teeth. A dental implant may replace a single tooth; however, since the implant bond is so strong, many teeth can be attached to just a few implants.

Why Consider Dental Implants?

Dental implants provide both aesthetic and health benefits. They allow you to chew a variety of foods, and prevent jaw bone atrophy. They also prevent natural teeth from shifting into the gap left by missing teeth. Before implants, replacement options consisted of using the neighboring teeth or sitting plastic teeth in a denture on the gum. Both are destructive to the remaining teeth and or bone/gum. These traditional treatments are limited and deteriorate in time. Because ProSmile provides fully customized restorations made of the highest quality materials, you’ll receive years and years of beautiful, confident, healthy smiles.

What happens when wearing a conventional denture?

Losing your teeth will affect your smile and change the shape of your face, causing you to look prematurely aged. If traditional dentures are made, the jawbone begins to shrink from constant pressure where the denture is pressing on the gums. Also, eating becomes a completely different experience for patients.

Who is a candidate?

TeethXpress can be placed in most adults who have lost most or all of their teeth. More importantly, those about to lose their teeth in an arch and are facing complete dentures are candidates who will benefit greatly. After an initial exam and consultation, Dr. Freimuth can determine if you are a candidate.

Is TeethXpress treatment painful?

No, the procedure is very comfortable and typically done under sedation and you will have little memory of the procedure.

When will I receive my new teeth?

TeethXpress is designed as an immediate solution so that it is possible for you walk out the same day with secure natural looking teeth. Situations may occur that require your dentist to delay securing your new teeth to the implants, but you will always leave with teeth. Talk to Dr. Freimuth about potential complications.

How do I care for my new teeth?

Initially you will only use a medicated mouth rinse prescribed by your TeethXpress dentist. Once your mouth is healed, you will use a waterpik to clean around the implants and under the secured teeth. You will also schedule regular follow up visits with your TeethXpress dentist for cleanings.

What is the success rate of TeethXpress and dental implants?

BioHorizons dental implants have an extremely high average success rate (99.2%).

Is TeethXpress covered by insurance?

Insurance policies vary but most cover a portion of the restorative procedure. Financing options are often available with competitive interest rates, and payments can be tailored to your budget.
