Preparing for Implant Restorations
If you already have dental implants, Dr. Freimuth can create a restoration to fit them. If you do not have implants yet, we can place them in our office. If you already have implants in place, we will ensure that they are strongly rooted in place and unaffected by disease or decay in surrounding tissues. If necessary, we can place additional implants or replace faulty ones.
Types of Dental Restorations
At ProSmile, we provide all types of implant-supported restorations:
Crowns – Dental crowns are single-tooth restorations. While traditional dental crowns are used to cover a tooth that was treated for advanced decay or trauma, implant-supported crowns fully replace a missing tooth. At ProSmile, we have an in-office CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) machine to create crowns the same day as your visit.
Bridges – Dental bridges are made from two or more dental crowns that are fused together to function as a single unit. Traditional dental bridges are supported by specialized crowns that are placed on adjacent natural teeth. Implant-supported bridges require no alteration of your surrounding teeth. We provide beautiful zirconia bridges that fit comfortably within your smile.
Dentures – Removable implant assisted or fixed implant supported acrylic.
Full Smile Makeover – Prettau® Zirconia is the material of choice for frequently occurring problems like reduced available space, bruxism or ceramic chipping. It offers a functional and at the same time aesthetical solution. This highly biocompatible and non-porous material distinguishes itself through its extremely high translucency and perfectly natural appearance.
